Report on Holy Angels Hospice in Haiti

Dear ICPCN Member
The ICPCN Steering Group has been in touch with a number of people to see where and how we could best help the victims and survivors of the recent earthquake in Haiti.  Colette Cunningham, an ICPCN member is presently in Haiti as a volunteer with Catholic Relief Services (CRS) and was asked to make a special visit to the Holy Angels Hospice in Port-du-Prince to see how they could be assisted.
Please see the attached report on her visit.  We wish to appeal to  our members to consider supporting Holy Angels Hospice in Haiti, as they care for these life-limited children in extremely difficult circumstances.
Donations can be sent to:  Holy Angels Children’s Society, PO Box 2142, Southampton, N.J. 08088  USA.
We would welcome any ideas on ways our Network can support children in Haiti and where there are other disasters.
The ICPCN will be setting up a discussion forum on ways we can react to future disasters, and Colette Cunningham has agreed to co-ordinate this group. If you would like to participate in this forum please inform Sue Boucher on [email protected]
