EAPC

The aim of the EAPC is to promote palliative care in Europe and to act as a focus for all of those who work, or have an interest, in the field of palliative care at the scientific, clinical and social levels.

American Pain Society

The American Pain Society is a multidisciplinary educational and scientific organization dedicated to serving people in pain.

EFIC

The European Federation of IASP chapters (EFIC) is a multidisciplinary professional organization in the field of pain science and medicine, made up of the 30 European Chapters of IASP (International Association for the Study of Pain).

IASP

IASP brings together scientists, clinicians, health care providers, and policy makers to stimulate and support the study of pain and to translate that knowledge into improved pain relief worldwide.

AAHPM

The American Academy of Hospice and Palliative Medicine (AAHPM) is dedicated to expanding access of patients and families to high quality palliative care, and advancing the discipline of Hospice and Palliative Medicine, through professional education and training, development of a specialist workforce, support for clinical practice standards, research and public policy.

Hospic

Slovensko društvo hospic je nevladina, neprofitna humanitarna organizacija, ustanovljena u lipnju 1995., djeluje na više područja Slovenije.
Društvo okuplja neozdravljivo bolesne i njihove obitelji. Sustavno radi na detabuizaciji smrti i normalnom odnosu prema umiranju i žalovanju u slovenskom društvu. Izdaje literaturu s tog područja, priređuje predavanja, seminare i radionice za strukovne djelatnike i za građane. Osposobljava dobrovoljce za pomoć pri skrbi bolesnih i nudi pomoć obiteljima u žalovanju.

Hungarian Hospice-Palliative Association

The Hungarian Hospice Palliative Association (HHPA) as national association was established by 19 hospices in 1995. In 2008 the HHPA has 55 member associations. Due to the activity of the HHPA, hospice care is financed by the National Health Insurance Fund, hospice directions are included into the National Cancer Control Program (2005) and the Hungarian Hospice-Palliative Association became a member of the National Health Council (2006).
The Hungarian Hospice-Palliative Association has undertaken a significant role in coordinating and organizing the Hungarian hospice movement since 1995: especially in establishing its legal background, in the formation of the national education system, in publishing textbooks and standards and in keeping in touch with decision-makers.

Association of Hospice and Paliative Care Providers

The Association of Hospice and Palliative Care Providers was founded in June 2005, associating seventeen providers of hospice and palliative care from all of the Czech Republic. The AHPCP is a professional and civic corporation with providers of hospice and palliative care as members.
The aims of the AHPCP result from the conception of a human being as a unique and unrepeatable individual and lie in enforcing of hospice and palliative care and its overall support. This effort should contribute to a positive change of attitude towards death and dying in our country.

Eastern European Task force (ECEPT)

ECEPT is an international association meant to group palliative care professionals from Eastern and Central Europe and Central Asia, the people who take leading part in the field of caring for the terminally ill. ECEPT is also serving as an organization gathering PC/hospice professionals and volunteers supporting the development of a network between NGOs and public health institutions, policy makers etc.

Hospice is a life, too - PL
The Hospice Foundation was created at the beginning of 2004. Its purpose is to run charity, educational training and marketing activities connected with acquiring funds for hospice care and training of health care personnel, volunteers as well as patients and their families.
The Foundation supports the actions of the National Hospice Priest, aimed at integration and promotion of hospice activities throughout Poland and abroad.
On everyday basis, the Foundation cooperates with medical and scientific circles, gaining recognition of the world of science, politics and media.
The scope of activities of the Hospice Foundation includes education via websites: www.hospicja.pl and www.wolontariat.hospicja.pl, which form an information and educational platform for all hospice employees and volunteers as well as patients’ families, students and other people.
Europa Donna Hrvatska

EUROPA DONNA – Europska koalicija protiv raka dojke je neovisna, neprofitna organizacija čiji su članovi grupe i podružnice iz zemalja diljem Europe.

EUROPA DONNA radi na podizanju svijesti žena Europe o raku dojke, promiče edukaciju, rano otkrivanje, optimalno liječenje, medicinsku i psihosocijalnu rehabilitaciju, palijativnu skrb kao i na povećanju sredstava za istraživanje same bolesti.

Hrvatska udruga prijatelja hospicija

Hrvatska udruga prijatelja hospicija je dobrovoljna socijalno-medicinska, humanitarna, samostalna i neprofitna udruga fizičkih i pravnih osoba, osnovana 1999. godine. Udruga se aktivno bavi poboljšanjem kvalitete života neizlječivih, kroničnih, umirućih bolesnika i članova njihovih obitelji.
Naglasak nije na smrti, već na kvaliteti života u posljednjim mjesecima, nerijetko i danima. Štićenicima i njihovim obiteljima Udruga pruža i psihosocijalnu podršku, a obiteljima i pomoć tijekom žalovanja.

Zaklada Onkologija

Zaklada je osnovana sa svrhom promicanja i poticanja intelektualnog usavršavanja mladih liječnika i znanstvenika starosti do 45 (četrdesetpet) godina,pomoćnog medicinskog osoblja i studenata u Republici Hrvatskoj na području onkologije, te pružanja financijske pomoći u provođenju svih drugih projekata od interesa za ostvarivanje svrhe Zaklade.
